Rehab Success Story - Earl

At Tamarack Ridge, our goal for our rehab residents is to reunite them with their families in the comfort of their own homes. Recently, we had Earl admitted from the hospital for ongoing medical management, IV fluids, postop care, wound care, and acute rehabilitation. Earl faced many challenges that were being thrown his way but our clinical team did not give up on him. During his stay at Tamarack Ridge, his overall condition began to improve, including his IV fluids and ostomy output. With the help of our amazing nurses and Dr. Huber, we were able to get Earl back home stronger and more independent.



“Earl arrived at Tamarack on September 28th, his birthday, he weighed only 136 lbs and came with a wound," expressed Earl's wife, Sandra. "His nurses at Tamarack were not happy to see his condition. Since that day with the care, treatment, etc. of his nurses and Dr. Huber, he has made a miraculous recovery from his hospital stay. He had four surgeries in a two-week period. Once he reached Tamarack, there was a plan put into action to get this man back to health. It's been a difficult journey, but one with a happy ending. Earl gets to go home!”
