Hoppy Hearts and Happy Memories: Easter at Tamarack Ridge

This year’s annual Easter celebration at Tamarack Ridge was nothing short of magical. Now in its third year, our beloved tradition began with an idea in 2023 and has since blossomed into a cherished community event eagerly anticipated by residents, staff, and families alike.



The festivities began with a lively Easter egg scavenger hunt that had children darting through the courtyards, scooping up colorful eggs tucked into bushes and flower beds. Each egg held delightful surprises—candies, tiny treasures, and even lottery tickets. Excitement buzzed as the hunt culminated in the discovery of the coveted golden egg, earning one lucky child a beautifully curated prize basket filled with seasonal goodies.

Inside, the fun continued with sugar cookie decorating stations where creativity ran wild, faces were transformed into butterflies and bunnies at the face-painting table, and laughter echoed as guests participated in a variety of games. A delicious breakfast brought everyone together, providing a moment to relax, mingle, and soak in the joyful atmosphere. Music played throughout the morning, setting the tone for a day filled with celebration and community spirit.



Cierra, one of our activities personnel, shared, "I really enjoyed seeing all of the staff with their families getting to enjoy finding their eggs.” A special shoutout to our amazing activities staff and dietary team for their incredible effort, creativity, and time dedicated to making this event a success.
