Meet Tamarack Ridge's EVS Team

At Tamarack Ridge, we take great pride in recognizing the hard work and dedication of our Housekeeping and Laundry teams, especially during National Environmental Services Week. These teams play an essential role in ensuring that our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. Whether it’s keeping the building spotless or making sure laundry is promptly returned, our staff goes above and beyond every day.
Let’s take a moment to highlight the incredible individuals who make all this possible:
Reagan Chernisky has been part of our team for a year since September 2023. Known for her strong communication, approachability, and flexibility, Reagan thrives on interacting with residents and working alongside her boss, Jeanette. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and spending time with friends. Reagan is the middle child of five and grew up with a dog named Moses.
Abby Broering joined Tamarack in January 2024 and loves getting to know each resident personally. She grew up in Saint Henry, Ohio, and moved to Kent for college. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, baking, and spending time with loved ones. Abby is the youngest of five, has eight nieces and nephews, and dreams of traveling to all 50 states and studying abroad in Italy.
Melissa Smith, with 25 years of experience in healthcare, has been with us for 5 months and takes pride in never calling off. Residents frequently compliment her work, and she cherishes her time talking with them and their families.
Vickie Kiser has been a part of the Tamarack Ridge family for a year. The residents adore her, and she loves visiting with them every day. Outside of work, Vickie is busy with her 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 kids, 5 grandkids, and 4 great-grandkids.
Kiley Johnson returned to the industry just 3 months ago after previously being an aide. She enjoys helping residents and has a deep love for her job. Kiley also loves spending time with her dog and hopes to travel more in the future.
Halie Barnard has 8 years of experience in healthcare and has worked with us for 5 months. Halie describes her work as fast-paced, caring, and organized. She enjoys the opportunity to work with residents and is a proud owner of 3 cats and 1 dog.
Ayla Kliskey, with nearly 11 months at Tamarack, is known for being kind, respectful, and organized. She enjoys helping others and considers her career essential, productive, and rewarding. Ayla’s favorite part of the job? Working with her boss, Jeanette.
Whitney Scott has been in healthcare for 4½ years and joined Tamarack 5 months ago. Her qualities include respect, honesty, and problem-solving. Whitney loves to make others smile and gets her motivation from helping people. She also dreams of skydiving one day!
Linda Scarlett has been in the industry for many years and attributes her career choice to her mother’s health. As the oldest of five girls, Linda is known for her reliability, timeliness, and listening skills.
Trenton Burrell has only been with us for 2 months, but his great listening and teaching skills already shine through. Trenton joined the team because he loves helping others. He’s a proud parent and dog owner, and one day hopes to swim with sharks!
Finally, Molly Young has been with Tamarack since its opening and has worked in the healthcare field for 3 years. Her deep understanding of her role and dedication to the residents' well-being is what motivates her daily. Outside of work, Molly enjoys cooking and caring for her grandson. One of her dreams is to see the ocean at least once a year.
